Meet Coach Chris!
New to us this year is Christopher Whelan. ‘Coach Chris’ comes to us with a wealth of knowledge in golf instruction, especially for juniors! He began his journey at Clovelly Golf Club in Newfoundland, Canada where he built a successful junior academy. From there he moved on to the Newfoundland Golf Association’s Future Links program where he became the lead ‘Golf in Schools’ instructor helping teach over 25,000 youth. Since that time he has also been the Mobile Youth Program Coordinator for Golf Ontario, was a private instructor at Tee Box Indoor Golf for youth and adults, and lead instructor for junior camps at two other golf courses in Newfoundland and more recently Ottawa. In the off season, Coach Chris is a supply teacher so he has had plenty of practice dealing with kids on a daily basis. Who better to leave your kids with this summer?? (Him and perhaps some surprise visits from last year’s favorites, Uncle Charlie & Bruce!) We welcome Chris to our Homestead family this season and (hopefully) for years to come.
What to Expect
Our Junior Kid’s Camps run Monday to Friday; 9am – 12pm. During that time, Coach Chris and his assistants will teach your child the basics of golf and golf etiquette on our state of the art practice facilities. The camp will include a snack and drink mid-morning everyday, prizes throughout the week as well as a take home keepsake at the end. On the last day, the kids will get to put their new skills to the test with some on-course instruction followed by lunch. All camps are kept to a maximum of 12 kids per week in order for your child to receive plenty of one-on-one instruction.

Cost: $249+tx per week
2025 Weeks: July 7th, July 21st, August 11th, August 18th
Camps run Monday to Friday 9am – 12pm
Ages: Best for children 6yrs – 14yrs
